As part of our continuous outreach to the local community, on February 23 the Catholic University in Erbil hosted a group of 11th grade students from Ankawa Typical Secondary School, one of the highest-rated schools in Kurdistan.

The students toured the university’s facilities and had plenty of chances to ask questions about future opportunities for themselves once they finish high school.

Many Ankawa Typical Secondary School students liked the campus design and were excited by our plans to develop sports facilities for the more holistic development of our undergraduates.

No matter what their eventual choice for continuing education after high school, our young guests were encouraged to view the Catholic University in Erbil as part of the local community and approach us with ideas as to how we can better serve their needs and the needs of other Erbil residents.
