The College of Health Sciences currently includes the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and has the potential to expand in the near future to include other important fields of health and paramedical sciences. The combined strength of all medical group colleges and health science departments enables a new level of interdisciplinary health science education and research that advances the full spectrum of health and wellbeing for the people and communities in the Kurdistan region and Iraq.
The College’s vision is to become a leading center for education and research in different fields of health sciences and to improve the health of our community through fostering highly qualified graduates in several health sciences professions.
