Seminar: “Dehydration”

Under the Strengthening Institutional Capacity Project, funded by U.S. Department of State’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau (NEA/AC), on August 5th, 2023, Mrs. Parez Najat Agha delivered a seminar titled “Dehydration” for CUE’s admin staff, organized by the Wellness and Safety Office.

Throughout the seminar, Mrs. Parez explained the meaning of the term, which “occurs when the normal water content of your body is reduced, upsetting the delicate balance of minerals” and “Dehydration is generally caused by not drinking enough fluid or by losing fluid and not replacing it.”

Moreover, Mrs. Parez also elaborated on the types and symptoms of dehydration as well causes and treatment. Furthermore, the presenter also talked about the benefits of staying hydrated, such as removing toxins, increasing energy, enhancing metabolism, and much more.
