Kurdistan (IFMSA-International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations Kurdistan) is a nongovernmental, nonpolitical, and nonprofit organization founded in 2009 in Hawler by Dr. Zana Baban and Dr. Laila Ibrahim. It is a National Member Organization (NMO) of IFMSA and is run by medical students along with dentistry and pharmacy students in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

EMR Camp is a Sub-Regional Training (SRT), bringing together medical students and participants from across the Eastern Mediterranean Region for a multi-day experience focused on capacity building, non-formal education, networking, and cultural exchange. The camp featured five workshops designed to strengthen participants’ leadership, advocacy, training, and capacity-building skills while encouraging them to become more active contributors within IFMSA and their respective areas of interest.

A number of students from CUE’s medical departments, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science participated in this camp, proudly representing CUE and contributing to the event’s diverse and collaborative environment.
