CUE’s First Padel Tournament

The Student Life Office (SLO) at CUE conducted its first Padel Tournament for students in Padelbol – Akkad on Friday and Saturday, October 16-17, 2026.

The tournament consisted of 13 teams, with two players in each team. Three winning teams were awarded special offers from the tournament sponsors who were Aram Towers, Chillax Café, and JH GYM.

The tournament was a great success, with students demonstrating enthusiasm and a strong interest in the sport. The tournament provided an enjoyable opportunity to engage and connect with students of different departments, and to break the daily routine of study life.

Main goal of paddle tournament was to foster teamwork, communication and sportsmanship, while also promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

As the first Padel tournament organized by the SLO at CUE, the activity marked a successful step to conduct more sport activities in addition to the already established sports tournaments and activities.
