Members of the Parliament of Canada Visit CUE

On September 2^nd, 2023, a delegation of Members of the House of Commons ( Members of Parliament) visited the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE). The delegation was welcomed by H.G. Archbishop Bashar Warda, CUE Chancellor and Chairman of Board of Trustees, Dr. Nazar Shabila, CUE President and Vice Chancellor, and Mrs. Vida Hanna, Executive Director of Programs and Director of Public Affairs and Strategic Communications.

Throughout the visit, the two sides held a meeting discussing possible future collaborations. The Members were introduced to CUE’s Mission and Vision, as well as the University’s facilities throughout a tour around the CUE campus.
