Seminar: Alzheimer’s Day

On September 21st, 2023, CUE’s Colleges of Pharmacy and MLS organized a seminar in commemoration of World Alzheimer’s Day, under the theme “Never Too Early, Never Too Late”. The seminar was conducted by guest speaker, Dr. Srood Nazar Jirjees.
Throughout the seminar, the speaker talked about dementia; the procedures that slow down the development of Alzheimer’s disease; the effects of the disease on short term memory and more. Moreover, Dr. Srood also highlighted the effect of a healthy diet on Alzheimer’s disease.
CUE students attended this seminar, along with the faculty. At the end of the seminar, Dr. Srood was awarded with a certificate of appreciation for conducting the lecture.
