Seminar: “Microbiology”

Under the Strengthening Institutional Capacity Project, funded by U.S. Department of State’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau (NEA/AC), on September 6^th, 2023, a seminar titled “Microbiology” was conducted by Ms. Maryam Nihad, for the CUE admin staff, organized by the Wellness and Safety Office. Throughout the seminar, Ms. Maryam delivered an introduction to microbiology, along with a brief explanation of microbiology history. furthermore, the presenter covered topics such as branches of microbiology according to application and taxonomy, the industries which involve it, types of germs, common diseases in Iraq, and how to protect self and others from germs.
