Vision Library – CUE Opening Ceremony

On Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, Vision Library – CUE was opened at the Catholic University in Erbil’s campus, by Vision Education. The opening ceremony started with a live performance by the Orchestra, after which H.G. Archbishop Bashar Warda, CUE Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, delivered a speech for the occasion. Following, Dr. Abdulfattah Abdulrazzaq Mahmoud, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, spoke about the library and the CUE campus which includes culturally diverse students. Ms. Sara Salahaddin Mustafa, CEO of Vision Education, delivered a speech regarding the Vision Library -CUE, which is funded by Vision Education. 

After the speeches, the ribbon cutting ceremony took place, where all the attendants got the chance to see the new library and have a tour around the building.

Vision Library – CUE, has the capacity of holding 20,000 books. The library also has fully equipped laptops which have access to several digital libraries, such as JSTOR, Research4Life, and more. The library will be open for researchers, scholars and readers, as it contains study rooms for a better study atmosphere.
