Basic First Aid Training
Under the Strengthening Institutional Capacity Project, funded by U.S. Department of State’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau (NEA/AC), a First Aid training was organized by CUE’s Wellness and Safety Office and conducted by Dr. Elliot Mikha, to CUE’s administrative staff on Monday, May 15th, 2023. Throughout the training, Dr. Elliot presented Basic First Aid information, along with simple systems such as the Triple A (Assess, Alert, Attend), the AVPU (Alert, Voice, Pain, Unresponsive), ABC, CPR for adult, children, and infants. Dealing with chocking for adult, children and infants. Bleeding control and how to deal with common medical conditions and traumatic situations. Moreover, Dr. Elliot also conducted a practical demonstration for this basic First Aid training, to further clarify the process to the participating staff.
