A Delegation from the Ecumenical Council of Berlin Visits CUE

On March 20, 2023, a delegation from the Ecumenical Council of Berlin – Brandenburg visited the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE). The delegation was headed by Monsignor Dr. Hansjörg Güntherand, and Dr. Markus Dröge, Former Lutheran Bishop of Belrin – Brandenburg, along with Dr. Stefan Gatzhammer, the delegation’s technical tour guide. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Nazar Shabila, CUE President and Vice Chancellor, Fr. Dankha Joola, Vice Chancellor for Administration and CUE staff. Throughout the visit, the delegation was acquainted by the CUE staff around the University’s campus and facilities. Furthermore, a meeting was held between the two sides to discuss possible future collaborations between German institutions and CUE, helping the students to get the best educational experience possible.
