Consortium of Catholic Universities Plans Joint Projects

Dr. Sabah Almaleh, Chancellor and President of Catholic University in Erbil attended a meeting organized by Catholic Consortium for International Higher Education Collaboration attended by around 20 Catholic Universities around the world.

The meeting took place on 8th September,2018 at ACU-CUA Rome Campus, Italy. Under the theme ”Catholic Outreach to the World collaborating on international partnerships and initiatives across the higher education spectrum.”

The primary goals of the consortium are developing joint projects, establishing a continuous exchange, and working on joint study programs. Against this backdrop, the member universities also used the meeting in Rome to discuss the Outreach to crisis situations of refugees, Social entrepreneurship, Refugee higher education initiatives and joint summer academies for students and young researchers of the consortium as a project outline for the years to come.
