CUE 7th Anniversary and Pre-Christmas Lunch

In December 2022, the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE) celebrated its 7th founding anniversary.

The ceremony started with a speech by H.G. Archbishop Bashar Matti Warda, CUE Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who emphasized the diverse and multicultural community of CUE while reflecting on this joyful season. Following, his speech, Dr. Nazar Shabila, CUE President, extended his good wishes to the CUE family, especially for the holidays, and welcomed the new students.

After the speeches, a cake-cutting ceremony took place, with the participation of CUE academic and administrative staff and the students.

Furthermore, after the anniversary celebration, the CUE family shared together a pre-Christmas lunch. CUE students had a fun time together after lunch by participating in different contests for the departments, accompanied by music and enjoyable activities and games.
