CUE and Amideast Celebrate Completion of English Language Development Programs

The Catholic University in Erbil (CUE), in partnership with Amideast, celebrated the successful completion of its English language development programs in May 2026, recognizing students for their dedication and academic achievement.

On May 12, 2026, CUE and Amideast held a certificate award ceremony for graduates of the English Enhancement Course and the Summer Intensive Course (1st Cohort). The programs provided 96 and 108 instructional hours respectively, helping students strengthen their English language proficiency, communication skills, and confidence. A total of 200 students completed the English Enhancement Course, while 120 students from the Summer Intensive Course.

On May 14, 2026, a second ceremony was held for graduates of the English Enhancement Course (2nd Cohort). The 96-hour program focused on enhancing communication skills, academic writing, and overall language confidence in a supportive learning environment. Another 200 students successfully completed the course and received certificates in recognition of their efforts and progress.

These programs reflect CUE’s mission to provide high-quality education and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for academic success, professional growth, and lifelong learning. Through these courses, students gained valuable language abilities that will support their future studies and careers.
