CUE Co-Organizes First Women’s Heart Day Scientific Forum in Iraq and Kurdistan

In conjunction with the World Day for Awareness of the Risks of Cardiovascular Diseases among Women, CUE participated in organizing the first scientific forum for Women’s Heart Day in Iraq and Kurdistan, which was held at the Erbil International Hotel on February 6^th, 2026.

The forum was attended by the university’s president and vice president. In addition to the distinguished group of faculty members from the university’s medical departments, who contributed to the various activities and programs of the forum.

This participation is considered as a great milestone for CUE because it highlights the university’s growing role in addressing critical public health issues.

By contributing to the organization of a scientific forum dedicated to Women’s Heart Day, CUE demonstrated its commitment to advancing medical awareness, supporting research, and engaging with the wider community beyond the classroom.
