CUE Conducts English Placement Test in Collaboration with AMIDEAST Iraq

On September 16–17, 2025, the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE), in partnership with AMIDEAST Iraq, conducted an English Placement Test (EPT) at the CUE Library Conference Hall under the Investing in Women’s Leadership and English Language Excellence Project, funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Assistance Coordination Office (NEA/AC).

The activity aimed to reassess students’ English language proficiency and assign them to appropriate English Enhancement Course levels. Around 200 students participated in the test, and the results placed them into 13 tailored language classes.

This initiative highlights CUE’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and enhancing students’ communication skills. By supporting language proficiency and educational growth, CUE continues to strengthen its mission of preparing students for success in both local and international contexts.
