CUE Faculty Attend Workshop on Integrating Entrepreneurship Education Across Disciplines

On Monday, Feb 16th, CUE conducted a training workshop titled “Integrating Entrepreneurship Education in Higher Education: Why It Matters for Every Discipline” for CUE faculty members across various disciplines. The workshop was presented by two trainers: Dr. Hawran Abdullah Saeed and Assist. Lect. Dlpak Azeez.

The workshop introduced entrepreneurial education in higher education and demonstrated how entrepreneurial skills can be integrated into teaching across all disciplines to better prepare students for the professional world.

Regarding the outcome of this training workshop in general, faculty members will develop a clearer understanding of entrepreneurial thinking and mindset. They will reflect on real-world challenges relevant to their disciplines. Also, the faculty will enhance collaboration and problem-solving skills.

The workshop has teaching and learning outcomes in which it will make faculty members understand the role of entrepreneurship education in higher education. Also, they will be able to identify ways to integrate entrepreneurial approaches into their own courses.

As part of CUE’s mission and vision to equip students with needed information to become future leaders, it’s important to start with a strong root to equip them fully, and it starts with having advanced methods used by faculty members.
