CUE signs a MoU with LCC International University

Dr. Sabah Al-Maleh, President of the Catholic University in Erbil and Dr. Marlene Wall, President of the LCC International University in Lithuania, signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two universities, especially in the area of exchange of experiences of professors and students and organizing a joint academic programs and activities.
The President of CUE University and Dr. Manhal Boya, Head of Registration and Student Affairs Department, visited LCC International University on 7-8 March 2019.

The purpose of the visit was to learn about the life inside LCC campus and to discuss the possible areas of collaboration between the two universities, where they met with the president of LCC University and vice presidents for academic affairs, programs, student life and marketing.

Furthermore, the delegations were acquainted with the infrastructure, academic facilities and activities. the delegation also attended one of the academic lectures at the university and a part of the Public Speech competition organized annually by the university for high school students.

Moreover, Dr. Sabah gave a general lecture on the persecution of Christians in the Nineveh Plain by the ISIS as well as the reality of the establishment of the Catholic University and its current situation and future directions attended by the LCC president and vice president for academic affairs and some professors and students.

The delegation also met with Iraqi students who are studying at LCC and discussed with them their academic and social issues.
