Free English course

The English Department at the Catholic University in Erbil recently organized a free English course for those students interested in applying to us. It lasted for a month, having been facilitated by Mr. Rawsan Jalal, Dr. Elena Rounkova, and Mr. Gerard Slattery.

To be a very successful introduction to university life as well as benefiting the participants, who unanimously agreed that over the course of these four weeks, their ability and confidence in English had improved significantly.

Certificates were awarded to all participating students and lecturing faculty members by the President of the CUE, Assist. Prof. Dr. Riadh Francis in a special ceremony on the 6th November. lastly, the president of CUE also appreciated highly the efforts of all faculty members who took part and organized the course mentioned above.
