Gender-Based Violence Awareness Symposium

The Catholic University in Erbil, and in collaboration with Hawler Medical University, will organize a symposium on ‘Gender-Based Violence Awareness’ on Saturday, December 3, 2022, on the occasion of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”

The symposium will start at 2:00 pm and will take place at the CUE campus (Auditorium). 

The program will be as follows:  

1. Gender-based violence (GBV): Concept and types.

2. Why the 16 Days of Activism against GBV?

The role of the Center for Research and Education in Women’s Health (CREWH).

3. Masculinity from gender perspective.
