How to Overcome the Crisis of Liberal Democracy
On March 8th, 2022, the Quality Assurance at the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE) organized a seminar titled “How to overcome the crisis of liberal democracy,” presented by Dr. Showan Khurshid, Department of IR.
Throughout the seminar, Dr. Showan presented a detailed explanation of how to overcome the crisis of liberal democracy. Moreover, he explained the important obstacle to building and maintaining democracy is an epistemological chasm and the measures that may tackle it.
At the end of the seminar, Dr. Showan Khurshid answered all the raised questions by the attendees. Finally, the department Quality Assurance (QA) awarded Dr. Showan Khurshid a certificate of appreciation for his efforts and the valuable information provided to the CUE faculty.
