International Accounting Day

Every year on November 10th, to honour the efforts of Luca Pacioli, “The Father of Modern Accounting,” as well as all others who have chosen the accounting profession. Traditionally, a profession focused on assisting businesses and people in balancing their finances and keeping their tax affairs in order. The contemporary accountant, on the other hand, must perform far more than reconciliations and tax computations. A celebration was arranged by students from the Department of Accounting with the guidance of their academics. The ceremony is attended by the CUE family.

Following the conclusion of the official session, the faculty members of the Accounting department organized a quiz and awarded prizes to the winners. This was followed by the cutting of the cake and lunch. Students from the Department of Accounting cooked the cuisine. Students took part in classical dancing towards the end.
