International Conference on Religion and Social Peace: Challenges and Prospects
On the 16th and 17th of February 2022, Catholic University in Erbil (CUE), held its first international conference, in collaboration with Koya University under the title of Religion and Social Peace: Challenges and Prospects.
The conference was attended by researchers and academics from various universities and other institutes. Along with Federal and Kurdistan Region government officials, representatives of various religious and ethnic minorities, and national and international humanitarian agencies.
During the two-day conference, participants discussed and debated religion and social peace in four panels. Participants represented from the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, India, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region.
The conference’s introductory session was hosted by Catholic University in Erbil on February 16th, while the conference’s concluding session was hosted by Koya University on February 17th.
