Seminar on Deficiency of Vitamins and Minerals in the Human Body: A New Generation of Instruments for Detection and Treatment
CUE, in collaboration with Ankawa Specialized Lab, Al-Mashriq Pharmacy, and a group of medical and laboratory companies, held an event at its campus, on February 14th, 2024.
The event started with a seminar titled “Deficiency of Vitamins and Minerals in the Human Body: A New Generation of Instruments for Detection and Treatment”, delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Zakar Said. The seminar was about the Vitamins and their importance, as well as vitamins tests (such as the Oligo test). After the seminar, the participating companies held an exhibition, which contained 3 booths, for Biotech, Ankawa Specialized Lab and AL-Mashriq Pharmacy.
CUE’s Pharmacy, MLS and Nursing students also participated in the exhibition, where they were able to explain about vitamins.
The event aimed to present the medical technologies and their latest advancements, related to the detection of mineral deficiencies and vitamins as well as treatment. This event also posed a big opportunity for CUE students to put their knowledge and skill in practice throughout the exhibition, where they can learn more about their fields of study.
