MC Scholarship Program

On February 4, 2023, as part of the Mitsubishi Cooperation (MC) scholarship program, His Excellency Mr. Arakawa Mikihiro, the Japanese Consul General in Erbil, Mr. Koji Maeda, the General Manager of MC Iraq, Dr. Nabil Qashat, former advisor to MC, visited the university campus to meet with the recipients of the MC scholarship program.

During the meeting, His Excellency, Mr. Arakawa Mikihiro and Mr. Koji Maeda gave brief speeches, followed by a speech by Dr. Nazar Shabila, CUE President, who thanked the Mitsubishi Cooperation for their supportive program, and the Japan Consul General for his presence.

The meeting concluded with a small ceremony where the students received scholarship acknowledgment certificates—followed by a tour around the CUE campus to acquaint Mr. Arakawa Mikihiro and the MC delegation with the building and the facilities of CUE.
