MHE Visits the CUE

On June 27, 2019, a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research headed by general directors and officials in charge of private universities, visited the Catholic University in Erbil-CUE as a part of the ministry’s program for the purpose of reviewing the affairs of the university and its compliance with the laws and instructions related to private universities.

Dr. Sabah Al-Maleh, Chancellor and President of the University gave a clear explanation about the past and the reality of the university and future directions for its development in the light of the five-year plan prepared by the university. The delegation also held a meeting with some heads of departments, faculty and students. Then they took a tour around the campus.

The delegation wished the university continued success, especially the development of a strategic plan for the university, where they did not notice the existence of a similar plan at any other university. They expressed their readiness to provide all assistance to the young university in all fields.
