Mitsubishi Corporation Visits CUE
On February 21st, 2022, a delegation from Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) visited the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE), to build on the ongoing collaborations between the two institutions.
The delegation included Mr. Koji Maeda, GM of Mitsubishi Corporation, along with Ms. Yuko Kanada, AGM of Mitsubishi Corporation, Dr. Nabil Qashat, an advisor to the MC, and Mr. Mustafa Ahmad, Senior Manager.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by H.G. Archbishop Bashar Warda, the Chancellor and Head of Board of Trustees of CUE, accompanied by Ms. Vida Hanna, the Director of Public and International Relations and Mr. Namir Jibrail, the MEAL Coordinator.
During the visit, potential collaboration methods were discussed to further support the students in completing their studies at the university.
After taking a tour at the CUE campus, the Mitsubishi Corporation delegation ended the visit by meeting the CUE students who were given full scholarships. It is worth to mention that MC has generously sponsored CUE students for two years now.
