On Saturday, Oct 23, 2021, the Quality Assurance at the Catholic University in Erbil conducted a workshop titled “National University Ranking and WEbometrics”.
Dr. Nazar Shabila (Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs at Hawler Medical University) and Dr. Firas Almukhtar (Head of IT and CS departments at the Catholic University) led a session on CUE activities and QA rating for 2020-2021. This session was attended by CUE’s President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Riadh Francis, as well as CUE’s Heads of Departments and academic staff.
Dr. Firas Almukhtar started the workshop with a presentation that showed CUE activity and its score, as well as highlighted the ranking criteria and how points are assigned. after then, Dr. Nazar Shabila presented and displayed what CUE needs to focus on and improve in a variety of areas. He also complimented what CUE is working on.
Dr. Francis handed a certificate of gratitude to Dr. Nazar and Dr. Firas at the end of the workshop for their efforts and the beneficial knowledge that they provided to the CUE faculty staff.
