Official Visit to the KRG Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
Today, December 6th, 2020, a delegation from the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE) visited the KRG Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MHE) for the purpose of strengthening the cooperation between the two sides.
The delegation was headed by the President and Vice-Chancellor of CUE, Asst. Prof. Dr. Riadh Francis accompanied by the Director of Public and International Relations, Ms. Vida Hanna.
During the visit, the delegation met with Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hussein Ahmed, the Head of Apparatus of Supervision and Quality Assurance, and Dr. Hawkar Rashid Arab, the Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation. Both sides reassured fruitful cooperation between the Office of Quality Assurance at the MHE and the Catholic University in Erbil.
Additionally, the delegation met with Mr. Ibrahim Rashid Hasan, the Director of Private Universities at MHE, where Dr. Riadh stressed the willingness of the Catholic University in Erbil to follow the detailed guidelines of the MHE and establish a strong collaboration with their department. Correspondingly, Mr. Ibrahim exposed the readiness of their department in supporting CUE in all aspects.
Furthermore, the delegation met with Asst. Prof. Dr. Jamal Hawleri, Assistant to the General Director of MHE and Asst. Prof. Dr. Najdat Akrawi, General Director of Research and Development, where they expressed their impressiveness regarding CUE and the success it has achieved and also their full readiness of supporting CUE.
