Seminar: Exam and Moodle Guidelines

On December 7, 2024, Dr. Iqbal Gorgis, Head of the Exam Committee, and Mr. Rebaz Maarouf, CUE’s ICT Coordinator, conducted a seminar titled “Exam and Moodle Guidelines”. The seminar focused on essential exam regulations and guidelines for invigilation and marking answer books.During the seminar, Dr. Iqbal emphasized the starting date and time for the final exams of the Fall semester. She elaborated on key responsibilities of invigilators, including verifying students’ IDs, ensuring all required information is filled out on the front page of the answer book, preventing
cheating, and facilitating a smooth exam process. Additionally, she noted that marking the answer books will be completed after two days from the exam, and preferably be done at the CUE campus and without using white correction fluid. Lecturers must ensure that marks are written clearly and include their signatures. Following Dr. Iqbal’s session, Mr. Rebaz provided an overview of the method for uploading and announcing students’ marks on Moodle.
