Seminar: The Importance of Mental Health for Women

On April 21, 2024, CUE held a special session titled “The Importance of Mental Health for Women”, hosting Dr. Asmaa Ghanim, as part of the Women Leadership Sessions of CUE’s Women Empowerment Corner, funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau (NEA/AC)

Dr. Asmaa Ghanim, is a Specialized Psychiatrist and a Professor Lecturer working nationally and internationally in Erbil, Mosul, and Qatar.

The session discussed the Importance of Mental Health for Women with a main focus on understanding the Mental and Psychological challenges that women face.

The Women Leadership sessions and events are funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau (NEA/AC), and organized to empower women and raise awareness about many topics that interest females within the society.
