Session: “Legal Awareness: Women’s Rights”

On May 11, 2024, CUE held a special session about “Legal Awareness: Women’s Rights”, hosting guest speaker Ms. Tavga Omer, Legal Director of Human Rights Commission in the Kurdistan Region in Iraq, as part of the Women Leadership Session of CUE’s Women Empowerment Corner.

The session discussed the National Legislations to Protect Women’s Rights in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

The Women Leadership sessions and events are funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Near Eastern Bureau (NEA/AC), and organized to provide students with valuable insights, enhancing their personal development journey.
