The Board meeting, held to enhance the standards and quality of education across
the Kurdistan Region, marked a significant step toward establishing a
comprehensive accreditation and quality assurance framework for higher education
institutions. The inclusion of CUE in this pilot project, among a select group of
universities, reflects recognition of the university’s strong commitment to academic
excellence, institutional development, and adherence to international quality
benchmarks.
CUE’s participation in this pioneering project underscores its leadership in promoting
quality and innovation in higher education across the region. The university
continues to position itself as a model institution dedicated to fostering knowledge,
diversity, and community service. Its involvement in the KAAE pilot project further
reinforces CUE’s mission to advance education in the Kurdistan Region and align
with global standards of excellence, in line with its pursuit of accreditation from the
Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) in the United States.
