The Consul of Japan in Erbil Visiting & Attending the Ceremony of Mitsubushi Award Distribution Event at CUE
On February 13, 2021, The Japanese Consul in Erbil, Ms. Nagayama Yoshiko, visited the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE) for participating in the Mitsubishi Corporation International Scholarship award distribution event.
The Catholic University in Erbil has previously signed an MOU with Mitsubishi Corporation (MC), where MC sponsored 10 of CUE students for the academic year 2020/2021.
The event was attended by the Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of CUE, His Grace Archbishop Bashar Matti Warda, CUE President, and Vice-Chancellor Assist. Prof. Dr. Riadh Francis, the Senior Advisor of Mitsubishi Corporation, Dr. Nabil Qashat, the Public and International Relations Director, Ms. Vida Hanna, and the 10 scholars.
During the event, each of Their Excellencies took part to deliver short speeches, and then they participated in presenting awards to the participant scholars.
