U.S Consulate General Erbil Visits CUE
On March 3,2019, a delegation headed by ????.????. ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ????????. ???????????????????????? ????????????????????, paid their maiden visit to Catholic University in Erbil.
The delegation were warmly welcomed by the Chancellor & President of CUE and Management staff.
During their visit they had a very
productive meeting, the Chancellor and President of university gave a brief
introduction to the current situation of the university regarding departments,
students, academic programs and facilities. Moreover, he highlighted the future
five years strategy plan of the university. Then, a discussion took place about
several academic issues including the requirements of the university’s
expansion plans. The consulate general advised university students to benefit
from U.S. exchange programs.
Furthermore, the delegation participated in a panel discussion with a group
student and learned about the challenges they face in the university and KRG.
Afterwards, during their tour around the campus they met with some of academic staff and students.
Lastly before leaving, the visitors enjoyed the lunch time with CUE students and staff.
