Department of Digital Media

Mission

While some instructors are simply concerned with specialized studio techniques, components of creativity, and concepts of design creation in their educational curriculum, recent studies on critical thinking regard art practices as a medium for the expression of individual thought. In order for a student to convey a concept, then that student’s mind should be well developed along with his technical skills. As such, our educational mission has always been towards a cross-disciplinary approach, graduating creative thinkers who not only have the necessary technical expertise, but the ability to explore and make connections between a wide variety of ideas, methods, and ways of thinking.
